West Ashley Locals Sushi & Sports Pub Restaurant

Came here as a big group while visiting Charleston. A lot of people rave about the Charleston food scene and Locals validated that experience for us. We sat at a nice high top table. Everything we got was truly incredible, from drinks, to apps, to entrees. It says a lot about a place that can truly master both sushi AND pub food. The Japanese mozzarella sticks were actually so unbelievable I can't get over it. And best of all, our server Conor was absolutely delightful. He made the experience even more awesome. Thank you Conor!!

Sushi is decent-priced and tastes good! However, I didn’t like their seating both the higher table option and the normal table were not super comfortable so it would be hard to sit there for more than an hour. The waiter didn’t refill my water in time. I would choose this place to go with a friend that I know very well and could offer a place where vibes are less important than food because the food was great. So vibes are on you!

Have been coming here for years. Sushi is phenomenal. Can't beat the half price deal when offered. Lots of different unique sushi rolls (and plenty non-sushi options to choose as well). Staff are always so friendly. Comfortable seating. Always leave absolutely stuffed! 100% recommended!

I always love going to Locals! Their sushi is the absolute BEST! Our waiter was very nice (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name), our sushi came out so fast and it was even half price sushi Tuesday and it was so good!!

Literally one of my favorite places ever!! The vibes are always great, the food hits every time, and the staff is so friendly — but I have to give a special shoutout to Nicole, the manager. She is AMAZING. Seriously, so kind, helpful, and just on top of everything. She made sure our experience was perfect from start to finish. You can tell she genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. Love this spot and love her even more!!

Locals West Ashley is always a go-to spot — great food, chill atmosphere, and solid service every time. But what really stood out was Nicole, the manager. She’s seriously incredible. Super professional but also down-to-earth and welcoming. You can tell she cares about making sure everyone’s having a good time. She handled everything perfectly and made the whole night better. Definitely coming back — Nicole made it feel like more than just dinner.

Let me start by saying we have been coming here FOR YEARS. This is our place for sushi. We had family in town and when they said they wanted sushi, we knew just where to take them. We had 6 adults and 2 littles and we all were well taken care of. We ordered apps and a crap ton of sushi and it was all executed beautifully and as perfect as it always is. Love this place and will continue to support this place as long as we crave sushi, which will be always.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Locals. The food was excellent, hibachi and sushi and drinks. The best experience we had was with the server, Kat was amazing!! She made it a most pleasant evening. She was very attentive, very personable and knew the menu and bar offerings. She made great suggestions and we will be back. We have been before, Mt Plst and WA, but we will go to West Ashley and ask for Kat!!!!!!!!

Great atmosphere and very modern vibe 🙂 Staff is always extremely hospitable and food comes out so fast! The goat cheese burger is legendary and all the sushi options are fire. I absolutely love and recommend Local’s to everyone (they also have talented live music play occasionally) So glad I discovered this place
