Mt. Pleasant is where Locals Sushi & Sports Pub got its start, opening on Queensborough Boulevard and setting the tone for every location that followed. Fresh sushi rolls, crafted cocktails, a true sports bar atmosphere, and a loyal community have been part of the story since day one.
East Cooper found its go-to sushi bar here — and it’s still the place locals choose to gather, enjoy delicious food, and celebrate together.
"My husband and I had a great experience. Walked in on a live music. It was super crowded so we were told one and a half hour wait on Monday night. However, we got super lucky with two seats at the bar right next to the guy who played music. Music was awesome. Food was awesome. Drinks were really good. Plastic cups, but it was OK because everything else was good. I wish I had another night out like this."
"Mount Pleasant location. Always good energy, great food. Staff is amazing, sushi is quality! Safe and love the outside bar area as well."
"Met my son and his friend here for dinner and it was great! We really enjoyed the sushi. Also, the tuna bites appetizer was delicious."
"Went here for their 1/2 off sushi rolls while my family was in town. Food was delicious, service was great. Place was a little small but they did a great job with fitting as many tables as possible. We will definitely be back."
"The food here is always great! Service was excellent! It’s where the locals eat …. It’s in the name!"
"Awesome sushi! Great employees, delicious food, and chill atmosphere. I loved the Crab Apple and Caribbean rolls. I can't wait to go back and try other items from the menu. I also really enjoyed the apple-flavored hot sake."
